Thank You! *blush*
I've browsed the galleries-- they really are wonderful. Now I want to go to Iceland, too.
Iceland is... hm... there is no word for it! The source of Earth :D
I'm in the process of uploading a lot of pictures, so, if you are interested, you can browse back in there in a couple of days/weeks and you might have a lot more to go through :D

Thanks for taking the time to check them out :)
wow what on earth did they do to the old buildings that used to be where the red and blue building is??

can't believe it's been more than a year since i left the place *ponder*

thanks for sharing the photos (i sneaked a peek in your gallery too, very nice :)
... hmmm... Interesting point... I'm going to have to go through my 2004 summer pics to see what was there before :D

Thanks for the comment :D
*wants to go*
Meh. I'm jealous of you that have been... I don't know what it is about those little islands, but I find myself inexplicably drawn to them. Then again, I suppose everyone else here does too. :P

You gave me a new wallpaper picture. Thanks!
That is an amazing picture, thanks for sharing! As a matter of fact, all of the pictures in your gallery are fantastic :)
I love your photos of the Faroes, esp. this one:

I am going there in June. I can't wait. I'm curious about the Smyril journey - I've been trying to find prices online and it looks like the cheapest option is 150 Euro roundtrip in the off-season, but summer quotes aren't given. The journey is about a day and a half each way from Iceland, am I correct?
Thanks! Lovely to see that they draw people in (the pictures that is... :D)
Myeah... the Smyril journey. That's a tough one...
About the length of the journey: it all depends when you are giong and where you will be leaving from. If you are going from Denmark you spend one night going from there to Norway, then you reach the Shetlands on that same day, and the Faroe islands early the next morning. Depending then when you left (summer/winter) you'll either be stuck in the Faroes islands for 2 nights and three days, or then just for the day. After yet another night, you'll finally set foot onto Iceland either in the morning or late in the afternoon.
It's an interesting journey. I loved it :)
If you are into reading, I've written all about it in my blog (starting here or here)... but beware, my posts are long and not always full of sanity :P

Oh, and for the prices of Smyril... contact them directly and they'll give you all the info you need :) they used to be very helpful and sure hope they still are :D

Enjoy your time!! And if you need any extra info about anything, get in touch :) I'm more than happy to give some advice/pointers about whetever concerning your stay up North :D
